A Tulsa native, Staker was a Blue Chip (top 25) recruit according to Tennisrecruiting.net .. She was the No. 24 player nationally in her signing class as well as the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma ... Staker was ranked as high as No. 776 in the ITF junior singles rankings and holds a high universal tennis rating of 10.74. She also achieved a career-high ranking of No. 5 in the nation and No. 1 in the United States Tennis Association's (USTA) Missouri Valley district... She was the 2020 USTA Missouri Valley Junior High Performance Player of the Year as well as the Oklahoma Player of the Year after an undefeated campaign ... Staker captured the 18s doubles title at the 2019 USTA National Doubles Championship, as well as taking bronze at Winter Nationals the same year.
