Courtney Harris joined Oklahoma Athletics in July 2013 and is entering her sixth season overall on Jennie Baranczykās womenās basketball staff and her third as the programās Chief of Staff.
In her current role, Harris oversees all aspects of team travel and logistics, manages the womenās basketball budget, and coordinates calendars, itineraries and schedules for coaches, staff and student-athletes. She also serves as the programās facility project liaison and oversees game day ticketing for student-athletes, staff, recruits and high school teams.
Harris previously served as director of recruiting and operations from June 2022 to June 2023, managing the recruiting calendar, planning official and unofficial visits, and serving as the programās compliance liaison.
From May 2021 to June 2022, she was the women's basketballĀ programĀ coordinator, assisting with budget management, invoice approvals, travel reconciliations and recruiting operations. She also managed head coach Jennie Baranczyk's calendar and helped organize team travel.
Before joining the womenās basketball staff, Harris worked as assistant business manager for travel in the OU Athletics Department from January 2019 to May 2021. She audited department travel through Concur, served as the department's travel representative and University Financial Services contact, and managed petty cash travel funds.
Harris began her career in athletics as administrative operations and special programs coordinator for OU Football from 2013 to 2018, where she supervised student assistants and the recruiting volunteer program, coordinated community outreach for student-athletes, supported recruiting visitsĀ and served as a liaison to NFL personnel.
She earned her bachelorās degree in communications and her masterās in intercollegiate athletics administration from the University of Oklahoma.
Harris and her husband, Jonathan, reside in Norman with their daughter, JoElle, and son, Bowen.
