Compiled a 10-6 record (8-6 against D1 opponents) at 141 pounds in redshirt season … Saw first collegiate action at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 17), finishing the day 4-2 with three pins … Put together impressive performance at the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1), placing fifth while earning five wins … Made his dual debut at the Virginia Duals (Jan. 12) against Wisconsin’s Felix Lettini and cruised to a 10-3 win … Also started at 141 pounds for the Sooners against South Dakota State (Feb. 9) and Oklahoma State (Feb 18) … Tallied six bonus point wins, including four falls on the season … Named to the Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team.
