Women's Tennis Releases 2026 Fall Schedule

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma head women's tennis coach Audra Cohen announced the Sooners' 2026 fall schedule Monday.
Oklahoma is slated to compete in 17 events this fall, with student-athletes competing in different tournaments across the country.
"We're excited about the opportunities our players will have this fall," Cohen said. "They'll be able to compete against the best players in college tennis while also gaining valuable experience on the professional tour. It's a challenging schedule, but it's exactly what our players need to keep growing and prepare to compete at the highest level."
Fall action begins in late September, with the Sooners splitting up between the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C., from Sept. 19-27 and the W50 Berkeley in California from Sept. 21-27.
October, which features seven competitions, is highlighted by the ITA Regionals in Memphis, Tenn., from Oct. 15-19 and the JAE Foundation Invitational, hosted by TCU, in Fort Worth, Texas, from Oct. 22-24.
OU will begin November with the W125 Miami in Miami, Fla., from Nov. 2-8, before heading to the ITA Sectional Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, from Nov. 5-8. The Sectional Championships will offer opportunities for players to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships later in the month.
The fall slate concludes with the NCAA Individual Championships, held Nov. 17-22, in Athens, Ga.
Cohen's team returns six players from the 2025-26 season, during which the Sooners won their first SEC regular season title, made their 17th NCAA Tournament appearance and advanced to their 3rd Super Regional. The returning group includes senior Chloé Noël, juniors Gloriana Nahum and Salakthip Ounmuang and sophomores Laura Brunkel, Evialina Laskevich and Edda Mamedova.
Oklahoma welcomes four newcomers, including senior Zoie Epps, a Norman product and Louisiana Tech transfer who returned to her hometown to play for the Sooners. OU also signed a freshman class that includes Reina Goto of Japan, Katya Maklakova of Russia and Sara Shumate of Charlotte, N.C.
Oklahoma's spring schedule will be unveiled at a later date.
