NORMAN -- Oklahoma junior Hank Trondson has been named to the SEC Community Service Team, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Trondson has made a meaningful impact in the Norman community through a wide range of service initiatives. He has volunteered with local homeless and food shelters, led tennis lessons for underserved youth, and played a key leadership role in the OU men's tennis Team IMPACT efforts. Through Team IMPACT, Trondson helps integrate a child with special needs into the program as an honorary teammate, fostering inclusion and connection.
In addition, Trondson shares his passion and knowledge of tennis with children from low-income and challenging backgrounds, teaching fundamental skills while serving as a mentor. He has taken on a leadership role in organizing Oklahoma men's tennis community service projects, leaving a lasting and positive impression on the Norman community.
