Sooner Caravan Returns in May

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has announced dates for the 2026 Sooner Caravan, beginning May 6 in Oklahoma City and with additional May dates scheduled for Tulsa, Dallas and Lawton.
The four-stop tour will feature new OU Vice President and Director of Athletics Roger Denny, head coaches Brent Venables, Porter Moser and Jennie Baranczyk, and Jim Nagy, general manager for football.
Caravan stops and dates include:
May 6 – Oklahoma City | The Jones Assembly
May 7 – Tulsa | Mother Road Market
May 11 – Dallas | The Rustic
May 12 – Lawton | Medicine Park Music Hall
Radio voice of the Sooners Toby Rowland will emcee the OKC and Tulsa functions, with Chris Plank handling the honors in Dallas and Chad McKee in Lawton.
Each caravan event is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m. Guests in attendance will hear from Denny on his vision for OU Athletics, while Nagy and the head coaches will share their perspectives and plans for the continued success of their respective programs.
Tickets for the Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Dallas locations cost $35 apiece. Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Lawton tickets cost $25 apiece (food and non-alcoholic drinks provided). Tickets can be purchased here.
