• The Sooners wrap up the month of March with a single non-conference game against Wichita State. OU is 26-2 in non-conference play this season.

• The Sooners upped their winning streak to 22 games before having it snapped in game two against LSU this past weekend. That stretch marked the 10th 20-plus game winning streak during head coach Patty Gasso's tenure.

• OU head coach Patty Gasso became just the third head coach in NCAA history to reach 1,600 wins after the win at LSU Friday.

• The Sooners went 16-1 in the month of March while going 8-1 in SEC play. Gabbie Garcia and Kai Minor paced all hitters with a .480 and .479 batting average respectively. Kendall Wells notched a team-best 11 homers and 27 RBIs during the month, while Ella Parker was right behind her with 10 homers, 26 RBIs and 50 stolen bases.

• Oklahoma's pitching staff has held it down in March. The Sooners' six-pitcher rotation spun a combined 2.10 ERA and fanned 95 in exactly 100 innings. Audrey Lowry is 6-0 with a save, while Kierston Deal and Berkley Zache combined for a 0.00 ERA in five appearances.

• OU has won 25 games by run-rule, including four in SEC play. OU has posted a double-digit scoring effort 22 times. The Sooners are 34-3 and 8-1 in SEC play and ranked third in the most recent ESPN.com/USA Poll as well as fifth in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll.

• The Sooners have an identical overall and conference record through 37 games as they did a year ago. The Sooners would go on to finish 52-9 with a 17-7 SEC record last season.

• The Sooners have hit at least one homer in 34 of 37 games and had done so in 20 consecutive games prior to Friday's game at LSU. OU's 133 home runs on the season is already good for third all-time in OU single season history and seventh in NCAA history.

• OU homered four times Sunday against LSU, the 17th instance in which OU has hit four or more home runs in a game this season.

FLEXIN' FRESHMEN

•  The Sooner freshmen Lexi McDaniel, Kai Minor, Allyssa Parker and Kendall Wells have combined for 50 homers, 132 RBIs, 133 hits 315 total bases. Together they are slashing .427/.509/.960. Their 50 homers is greater than 274 teams nationwide.
