NORMAN — University of Oklahoma head wrestling coach Roger Kish announced the Sooners' 2026-27 schedule Tuesday.
The 15-meet regular season is highlighted by eight duals against teams that appear inside the top 30 of the preseason FloWrestling rankings, including a marquee early season home matchup against five-time defending national champion Penn State at Lloyd Noble Center.
Fans can get their first look at the Sooners under 4th-year head coach Roger Kish on Oct. 23 at the Crimson and Cream intrasquad dual. The dual is set for a 5 p.m. start at McCasland Field House and admission is free.
Oklahoma officially opens the season on Nov. 1, when it hosts Division II opponent Northeastern State in the River Hawks' first dual in program history. The tilt will take place at McCasland Field House, which will be the official home to OU's home duals in the 2026-27 season for the 99th year.
OU will travel to Northern Colorado for its first road dual of the season on Nov. 8. The Bears are led by former Sooner Teyon Ware, a two-time NCAA champion at Oklahoma who previously served as an assistant coach for the Sooners.
The Sooners will return to Norman on Nov. 15 to host preseason No. 1 Penn State at the Lloyd Noble Center, marking the first wrestling event at the venue since 2021.
Oklahoma then hits the road to face Indiana (Nov. 20) before beginning the Big 12 conference slate at Arizona State (Dec. 3)
OU then heads to a pair of tournaments with the National Duals Invitational from Dec. 12-13 in Tulsa before starting the new year at the Southern Scuffle from Jan. 2-3.
The Sooners return home to welcome Missouri (Jan. 8) and Rider (Jan. 10) before hosting the 191st edition of Bedlam inside McCasland Field House on Jan. 24.
Oklahoma then heads north for a trio of Big 12 road matches where they will face Iowa State (Jan. 29), Northern Iowa (Jan. 30) and West Virginia (Feb. 6).
OU closes out the regular season with a pair of home contests against Utah Valley (Feb. 12) and Wyoming (Feb. 14).
The Big 12 Championships, slated for March 5-6, return to Tulsa, Okla., and the BOK Center for the 11th consecutive season.
The 2026 NCAA Championships, set for March 18-20, will be held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.
