NORMAN – The Southeastern Conference (SEC) revealed home and away opponents for the 2025–26 women's basketball slate on Tuesday.
Oklahoma will host Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M at Lloyd Noble Center, and will travel to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Texas and Texas A&M.
In games now announced, the Sooners are set to face seven teams ranked in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25, including five at Lloyd Noble Center as No. 1 South Carolina, No. 5 LSU, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 9 NC State (ACC/SEC Challenge) and No. 13 Ole Miss are all headed to Norman this season. Oklahoma checks in at No. 6 in the same poll.
For the 17th straight season, SEC teams will play a 16-game schedule. In 2025–26, each team will play a single round-robin (14 games) and have one rotating opponent (2 games). This season, Oklahoma's rotating opponent is Texas A&M.
In their SEC debut last season, the Sooners went 11-5, tied for fourth, reached the conference tournament semifinals and advanced to the program's first Sweet 16 since 2013. The 2026 SEC Tournament is set for March 4–8 in Greenville, S.C., at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Oklahoma returns its top three scorers in
Raegan Beers (17.3 PPG),
Payton Verhulst (14.9 PPG) and
Sahara Williams (10.6 PPG). Beers and Verhulst earned All-SEC honors last season, with Beers also garnering All-America recognition. They're joined by three other returners and the nation's No. 15 signing class, led by Naismith and Gatorade National Player of the Year Aaliyah Chavez. Top-70 recruits Keziah Lofton and Brooklyn Stewart bolster the group, along with Irish standout Emma Tolan.
The full 2025–26 schedule, including dates and times, will be announced later.
