EUGENE, Ore. – The No. 17 Oklahoma men's track and field team wrapped up day one of the NCAA Outdoor Championships Wednesday night at Hayward Field.
Graduate student and Oklahoma City native
Anthony Riley concluded his collegiate career a NCAA Second Team All-American in the long jump, recording a 7.46m (24'5.75") leap on his second attempt for 16th place. His performance marks the end of two decorated stints at OU and Tennessee, having qualified for all four NCAA Outdoor Championships of his career.
Junior
Tucker Smith capped his junior season and first trip to NCAAs with an honorable mention award in the shot put. He registered an 18.26m (59'11.00") throw on his second attempt for 21st in the field.
Four athletes on the women's team are scheduled to compete Thursday with events starting at 3:30 p.m. CT. Live results of the meet can be viewed on
