OU T&F Geared Up for NCAA Outdoor Championships

NORMAN – The No. 17/19 Oklahoma track and field team resumes the postseason at the NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by Oregon. The meet will be held at the historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., where 15 Sooners will compete for a national championship Wednesday, June 11 through Saturday, June 14.

OU advanced 15 athletes for the final site. Men's events are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday, while women's events are set for Thursday and Saturday. Pippi Lotta Enok will compete in the heptathlon Friday and Saturday.

Live results of the NCAA Outdoor Championships can be viewed on Flash Results. A broadcast of the meet will air on ESPN Wednesday and Thursday and ESPN2 Friday and Saturday.

Three men's athletes will kick off nationals for the Sooners Wednesday evening. Colton Rhodes will compete for the first time at the championships in the pole vault at 6:35 p.m. CT. Anthony Riley makes his fourth and final appearance at NCAAs in the long jump at 7:40 p.m. CT and Tucker Smith rounds out the night in the shot put at 8:10 p.m. CT.

On Thursday, hammer throw duo of Kennedy Clarke and Kassidy Gallagher will begin the event at 3:30 p.m. CT. Both competing for the first time at a track and field national championship, Leah Jeruto will race in the steeplechase semifinal at 6:30 p.m. CT and Jenna James the 400-meter hurdles semifinal at 8:14 p.m. CT.

Pippi Lotta Enok, the 2023 NCAA heptathlon national champion, returns to the outdoor stage Friday at 1:45 p.m. CT. Her fourth event of the day will conclude at 8:43 p.m. CT. Meanwhile, Ralford Mullings returns to the championship for the second time in his career with the discus throw at 4:15 p.m. CT. High jumper Kyren Washington will make his second-consecutive appearance in Eugene at 6:30 p.m. CT. To close out Friday, BJ Green, the 2024 bronze medalist, and Floyd Whitaker will compete in the triple jump at 7:10 p.m. CT.

Paige Low starts things of Saturday with the discus at 2:30 p.m. CT and Enok completes her final three events beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT. Pair of triple jumpers, Agur Dwol and Ashley Moore, take the stage at 7:10 p.m. CT. If qualified, Leah Jeruto will race in the steeplechase final at 8:24 p.m. CT and Jenna James in the 400m hurdles at 9:27 p.m. CT.
