NORMAN – The National Wrestling Coaches Association named four Oklahoma wrestlers to its 2025 Division I Scholar All-America team Wednesday afternoon.
Antonio Lorenzo, Cleveland Belton, Mosha Schwartz and Tate Picklo were among the honorees.
To be eligible for Scholar All-America status, a wrestler must meet one of four criteria:
Schwartz and Picklo earned the honor for the third time, while Lorenzo and Belton were recognized for the first time.
"The NWCA is proud to recognize these outstanding individuals who embody excellence in both athletics and academics," NWCA executive director Mike Moyer said.
A total of 236 individuals received the award across 47 teams. Oklahoma now has 60 all-time NWCA Scholar All-Americans. The organization was founded in 1997.
