NORMAN – Five members of the No. 2 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team combined to secure 14 regular season All-America honors from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).
Seniors
Jordan Bowers and
Audrey Davis, junior
Faith Torrez, sophomore
Keira Wells and freshman
Lily Pederson all received recognition from the association.
Regular season All-America honors are based on an individual's final national qualifying score (NQS) prior to regional competition. First team honorees are ranked 1-8 nationally, and second team designees are ranked 9-16.
The Sooners had at least two athletes recognized on every event and in the all-around and three Sooners honored on two events and the all-around. Oklahoma's three athletes recognized in the all-around led the nation. The 14 honors were tied with LSU for most in the country.
Torrez paced the Sooners with five All-America honors, her first time earning all five awards. The junior earned first team honors on vault, beam, floor and the all-around and second team honors on bars. She ended the season as the No. 1 gymnast in the nation on floor, No. 2 in the all-around and No. 3 on vault and beam. Torrez is one of just four athletes to earn all five honors this season and one of just two with four first-team honors.
Bowers earned four honors in her senior season with first team recognition on beam, floor and the all-around and second-team honors on bars. Bowers is tied with Torrez for No. 2 in the nation in the all-around and is No. 3 on floor and No. 4 on beam.
Davis and Pederson each brought home a pair of accolades. Davis was named to the first team on bars after finishing the season as the No. 1 ranked athlete on the event, while also earning second team honors in the all-around. In her first season of competition, Pederson earned second team honors on both vault and bars and is one of just two freshmen to earn multiple honors in 2025.
Wells picked up her first regular-season honor with a second team nod on vault.
The Sooners will travel to Seattle, Wash., April 3-6 for the NCAA Seattle Regional. The No. 2 overall seed, OU will face Auburn, Nebraska and the winner of Illinois/UC Davis in the second round on Friday, April 3, at 9 p.m. CT.
