Oklahoma played for its sixth conference tournament title, collecting just its second loss in the Big 12 Championship Game.

Oklahoma is 20-10 all-time in the Big 12 Championship, 5-1 in the championship game and 8-8 in the conference tournament when played in Kansas City.

The University of Oklahoma will host NCAA first- and second-round games at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla., Sunday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 23.

Danielle Robinson and Amanda Thompson were named to the All-Big 12 Championship Team.

DANIELLE ROBINSON
Danielle Robinson reached double-digit scoring for the 81st time in her career, matching Dionnah Jackson (2002-05) for eighth on OU's career list.

Robinson has scored nine or more points in every game this season.

AMANDA THOMPSON
Amanda Thompson averaged 17.3 points and 15.0 rebounds in three tournament games.

Thompson scored 20 points and matched a career high with 19 rebounds.

Amanda Thompson started her 105th career game, 10th best all-time at Oklahoma, and played in her 133rd, matching Stacey Dales (1999-2002) and Erin Higgins (2003-07) for fourth most all-time.

Thompson collected her 17th career double-double, tied for eighth best all-time at OU with Etta Maytubby (1993-96).

JOANNA MCFARLAND
Joanna McFarland scored a career-high 14 points.
