Abby Dayton has signed with the Knoxville Miracle, a professional softball team that will embark on its first season next year. Dayton is the fourth signee to be announced to the team.
The 2026 graduate of Oklahoma spent the summer playing with the Florida Vibe of the Professional Softball League, earning rookie of the year honors.
In two years with Oklahoma, Dayton hit .352 (100-for-284) with 102 runs, 62 RBIs and 123 games played. The outfielder made starts at all three outfield positions as a mainstay in the OU outfield during the 2025 and 2026 seasons. This past year she was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) First Team All-Midwest Region and All-Southeastern Conference Second Team pick.
