Keefer Named to Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week

Posted First Four-Goal Game in Program History
NORMAN — A day after being named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Offensive Player of the Week, forward Kayla Keefer was tabbed to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week. Keefer is one of 11 players selected to this week's team across the nation and one of two players in the SEC.
The forward scored four goals in the season opener, setting the OU single-game goals scored record while notching the fastest hat trick in OU history at 11 minutes and 50 seconds.
Her performance last Thursday helped the Sooners set a program record for goals in a game with nine. She is tied for second in the country with four goals through two contests.
Keefer also became the first Sooner in program history to be named SEC Offensive Player of the Week, while also earning her first such honor.
The Sooners continue non-conference play against Oklahoma State in Stillwater Thursday, Aug. 20. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
